Omaha Dumpster Rental FAQs

Our dumpster rentals range from $195 for an 8-yard dumpster to $505 for a 40-yard dumpster. Standard pricing includes delivery in the Omaha Metro, a 7-day residential rental period and the included weight allowance for your dumpster size. Additional charges may apply for excess weight, extended rental periods or delivery outside the Omaha Metro.

IteThe right dumpster size depends on your project and the amount and type of debris. Smaller 8–12 yard dumpsters work well for household cleanouts and smaller remodeling projects, while 15–20 yard dumpsters are popular for larger cleanouts and renovations. Our 30–40 yard dumpsters are best suited for larger construction, remodeling and demolition projects.

Free dumpster delivery in the Omaha Metro is included in the rental price. A delivery fee may apply for locations outside the Omaha Metro, and our office will confirm the delivery price before scheduling. We do not deliver to Blair, Fremont or Lincoln.

We deliver dumpsters Monday–Saturday with one day’s notice. Same-day dumpster delivery may also be available. Call or order online and we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule.

The standard residential dumpster rental period is 7 days, beginning the day after delivery. The dumpster will automatically be picked up at the end of the rental period, or you can call us to request an earlier pickup.

Need it longer? Rental extensions are typically available for $10 per additional day. Contact us for longer rental terms and contractor pricing.

The included weight depends on the dumpster size. Our 8, 10 and 12 yard dumpsters include 1 ton; 15 and 20 yard dumpsters include 2 tons; and 30, 35 and 40 yard dumpsters include 4.5 tons.

If the dumpster exceeds the included weight allowance, additional disposal charges will apply.

Our dumpsters can be used for most household, remodeling and construction debris, including furniture, appliances, household junk, wood, drywall, flooring and general construction debris.

Some materials have special requirements. Concrete, dirt and other heavy materials require specific dumpster sizes and loading limits. Tires and hazardous waste, including paint and oil, are prohibited by the disposal facility.

Yes, but concrete, dirt and other heavy materials require special handling. These materials must be placed in a designated 12-yard dumpster only and filled no more than halfway to help prevent overweight loads.

Heavy materials cannot be mixed with trash or yard waste and must be placed in an approved container. A heavy-material handling surcharge applies due to the additional weight and equipment wear.

Yes. We offer dumpsters for roofing shingles, but please contact us before ordering. The appropriate dumpster size and pricing depend on the roof size (number of squares) and the number of shingle layers being removed.

Roofing shingles must be placed in a separate container and cannot be mixed with other debris. We’ll confirm the correct dumpster size and pricing before delivery.

Contact us for a dumpster swap (container exchange). We’ll pick up your full dumpster and replace it with an empty one.

Swaps are billed as a new dumpster rental at the same rate as a standard delivery. The new container starts a new 7-day rental period, and all standard weight limits and rental terms apply.

For contractors and active job sites, same-day swaps may be available to help keep your project moving.

No. For a standard 7-day residential rental, your dumpster is automatically scheduled for pickup at the end of the rental period.

If you finish early, call or text us at 402-861-8646 to request an earlier pickup. If you need to keep the dumpster longer, contact us before your scheduled pickup. Extensions are typically available for $10 per additional day.

Yes, but a city permit is required when a dumpster is placed on the street. For dumpsters placed within Omaha, we can handle the city permit for you for $35.

If the dumpster will be placed on a street in another city, you are responsible for obtaining the required permit before delivery.

Yes. We work with contractors, remodelers, builders, restoration companies and other construction professionals throughout the Omaha Metro.

We offer 8–40 yard roll-off dumpsters, including 30, 35 and 40 yard containers for larger construction and demolition projects. Same-day swaps may be available, and approved contractor accounts can receive convenient invoicing and longer rental terms.

Our dumpster dimensions are approximate. Containers of the same cubic-yard capacity may vary slightly in length, width or height, but they hold the same volume.

Yes. All of our dumpsters have doors that open for easier loading. This makes it easier to load furniture, construction debris and other large or heavy items without having to lift everything over the side.
